The character of the Eight of Swords is as much a bird or a fish as she is a woman. You cannot make up your mind about her;her ambiguity compels yet another glance. She is the prostitute who has tried everything but is still blank and innocent;totally disillusioned, but with an unpredictable eye filled with curiosity. She sips her drink at a cheap plastic bar. Saturn,in a pink sphere, hovers over the sleeping city beyond the stylistic window blind of eight swords. Her urge to withdraw from life brings her futile struggle. Loss of honor, strength through limitations, dissipation, overwork.
