Rider-Waite is,perhaps,the most well-known tarot deck in the Western world. It is often called the first modern Tarot deck,because the cards drawn by Pamela Colman-Smith were the first to use detailed pictures on the minor arcana cards (as opposed to simple ‘pips’).
