Strat: Bridge + Middle, Parallel, Out of Phase
Analysis:
In this position, we have the Bridge and Middle pickups in parallel and out of phase. This is a new configuration that is virtually identical to the Bridge + Middle, Parallel, In-Phase configuration, except that the phase of the middle pickup is reversed. (See Bridge + Middle In Phase for a complete analysis). The only difference is that the phase switch now reverses the polarity of the middle pickup, as shown by the dotted lines.
