Strat: Neck + Middle, Parallel, Out of Phase
Analysis:
In this position, we have the Neck and Middle pickups in parallel and out of phase. This is a new configuration that is virtually identical to the Neck + Middle In Phase configuration, except that the phase of the middle pickup is reversed. (See Neck + Middle In Phase for a complete analysis). The only difference is that the phase switch now reverses the polarity of teh middle pickup, as shown by the dotted lines.
