Pens for Sale

Everyone knows that inscribing magical information on parchment involves using special inks, and this, in turn, requires either a dip pen or a fountain pen. Modern fountain pens are quite expensive, and, for me, lack the spirit of an antique. For this purpose I have decided to part with some selected examples from my extensive Fountain Pen collection. All of the pens listed here are depression-era fountain pens that have been fully restored to writing condition. As a bit of background, during the depression, various pen manufacturers created bright cheery pens that were intended to help pick up the spirits of the users. I find their wonderful colors and patterns particularly appropriate to magical work. All are $25.00 + $5.00 for shipping & Insurance, unless otherwise marked.

Pen#1: Here we have a lovely depression-era, lever-fill Wearever. Colors are swirls of blue, gray, and brown. Stainless steel nib. Approximately 4-3/4" long.
Pen#2: This is another one with a nice swirl pattern--this one has some red in it, as well as browns, blacks, greens, and copper-hues. No markings on the clip, but the stainless steel nib might read Wearever (my eyes aren't good enough to make it out.) Approximately 4-3/4" long.
Pen#3: This is one of my favorites. It's a nice bright red with magical-looking pieces of colorful reflective foil molded into the body. Lever fill, stainless steel nib. Approximately 4-3/4" long.
Pen#4: Here's another one with magical-looking bits of reflective foil, this time against a black background. No markings on clip. Stainless steel nib. Approximately 4-3/4" long.
Pen#5: WOW! What a find! Gold sparkle, as shown. Lever fill with a delicate stainless steel nib. Approximately 4-3/4" long.
Pen#6: I believe this one to be a Parker lady's pen (so called because instead of a pocket clip, they came with a ring on top, to be worn around the neck on a ribbon.) This has plunger fill which seem pliable, but it has a rather short range of motion, so it might need a new spring. The barrel is darkened compared to the cap, as shown. 4-1/2" long. Nib looks like copper. Since I'm not certain about the filling mechanism, I'll let this one go for just $15.00 + $5.00 for shipping and insurance. Well worth having a 'pen doctor' go over it.
Pen#7: Another 'lady's pen', this one a lever-fill. Gold nib. 4-1/4" long.
Pen#8: Finally, this TINY little gem is only 3-1/2" long--perfect for smaller hands. Lever fill, gold nib. This one is going to need a new bladder, and consequently, is only $15.00 + $5.00 for shipping and insurance.
